Korean Market Tour and Cooking Class.

This tour starts with a visit to a traditional Korean Market to see the different produce, meats, seafood, and other products available. Then you travel to O’ngo Food Communications Cooking Studio to view a cooking demo and then you get to cook your own full Korean meal. The Korean chefs are fluent in English. The basic menu consists of an appetizer, main course, salad or dessert. Some of the past menus include Spicy Braised Chicken in Chili Sauce (Daktoritang), Marinated Beef (Bulgogi), Korean Street Food, and Korean Side Dishes and kimchi (banchan). Custom classes can be tailored by request. All costs for food, equipment, and a recipe book will be provided. The market tour is 5,000 ($4) extra.

All classes are conducted in English and taught by Chef Shawn Park.

Time: The basic session is 3 hours long including market tour. The market tour is 5,000 ($4) extra.

Fee: Basic 55,000 won (3 dishes) ($50). Intermediate 80,000 won (5 dishes) ($72) Professional 120,000 won (Special High End Specialty Menu). ($108). Minimum 5 people per class.

Total cost for the basic class is 60,000 won, Intermediate is 85,000 won, and Professional is 120,000 won.
